How we write, review and correct content
Our rules for religious content, so you know what you are reading and who stands behind it.
Our principles
Must-know first. Every item has a source. Daily hadith cards use only sahih and hasan hadith. Nothing is presented as reviewed until a named scholar has reviewed it.
How content is written
Contributors write each item with the Arabic, a translation per language, a transliteration, the source and its grading. Translations are marked as drafts until a native speaker has checked them.
How content is reviewed
A scholar checks the Arabic, meaning, source and madhab notes. The approval is stored with a fingerprint of the exact text. Any later change makes the item unreviewed again until it is re-checked.
Madhab differences
Where the four schools differ, the app shows the version for the madhab you chose. If you choose “not sure”, it shows the common ground and notes where the schools differ. We never present one school's view as the only view.
AI and automation
AI is used only to check pronunciation of Arabic sounds. It never writes rulings, answers or explanations. Verified answers are written by named scholars.
Corrections
Mistakes are fixed as soon as they are confirmed. A fixed item is reviewed again, and important corrections are listed in the changelog.
How to report a mistake
Tap “Report a mistake” on any item in the app, or use the contact form. Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, the correct source. We read every report.
